Timeline Commands

Use the following keyboard shortcuts to control functions in the Timeline.

Close the active tab.

Turn linked selection on or off.

Turn snapping in the Timeline on or off.
Press F4 plus track number.
Lock a video track.
Press F6 plus track number.
Set the video destination track. (Assign the v1 Source control to a video destination track.)
Press F7 plus track number.
Set audio destination 1. (Assign the a1 Source control to an audio destination track.)
Press F8 plus track number.
Set audio destination 2. (Assign the a2 Source control to an audio destination track.)
Press F5 plus track number.
Lock an audio track.
OptionTOption-T
Show or hide filters bars, motion bars, speed indicators, and the keyframe editor.
OptionWOption-W
Show or hide clip overlays.
ShiftTShift-T
Toggle the Timeline track height. (Switch among four track display sizes.)

Zoom in.

Zoom out.

Add an audio transition to the selected edit point.

Ripple cut. (Remove the selected clip and move subsequent clips earlier in the Timeline to fill the gap.)

Ripple delete. (Delete the selected clip and move subsequent clips earlier in the Timeline to fill the gap.)

Select In to Out. (Select all items between the In and Out points.)
